Q. My daughter is getting married next year, but we would like to book Moodies now. Will you hold your price?
A. Yes. Regardless of how far ahead you book, on the receipt of a small deposit we guarantee to stick to the quoted price.
Q. I'm getting nervous already and my daughter's wedding is still weeks away. Will I be able to get hold of anyone 'out of hours' if the need arises?
A. In the unlikely event that there is no-one in the office just leave a message on our 24-hour answer service and we'll get back to you in minutes.
Q. What happens if there's a last minute change of plan - say the numbers suddenly increase or half the guests belatedly announce that they're vegetarians?
A. No problem! We're used to the unexpected and any late changes of plan will be accommodated by us, leaving you with only the weather to worry about!
Q. That's a good point! What happens to the food if we get a sudden heat wave?
A. Our food is always transported in special refrigerated vans. We comply with ALL health and hygiene regulations.
Q. Should we take out insurance in case someone gets injured?
A. No. We have full public liability insurance which is included in our quoted price. Although you might want to take out accidental damage & loss insurance to cover the marquee.
Q. We like your literature but we would still like to see one of your marquees before we make a firm decision. Is this possible?
A. Of course. You are very welcome to visit our premises at Liphook, just 'phone to arrange a convenient time. Or if you prefer, visit us on site at a location near you.
Q. One caterer I have spoken to has offered a very cheap job 'for cash'. What is to stop me using him and saving VAT?
A. Nothing - but if a firm has so little regard for the law what else will be sacrificed "for a quick buck". Peace of mind counts for a lot and taking risks over such a special day is nearly always a false economy.
Q. We'd like to entertain a lot of guests but we've only got a small kitchen.
A. Don't worry - we'll bring one of our mobile kitchens (and park it out of sight!)
Q. In these recessionary times what guarantee have we got that you'll still be trading next year?
A. We started the company in 1977 and have been trading very successfully ever since. Even our bank manager is impressed!
Q. I'm convinced! What are your payment terms?
A. We ask for a non refundable deposit of £500 for the catering and £500 for marquee hire on confirmation of the booking and the balance is invoiced to you 7 days before the big day. If you prefer you can even pay for the deposit on a credit card.
